"Warning: read the reviews and see which are just for their cheap policies, vs actual help with claims, they write extremely cheap policies and under insure people, so that they have the cheapest premiums. Their good reviews are inflated by this. I am so disappointed in the condo insurance policy they gave me. I’ve been a customer for almost 6 years. In 2020 I provided them all the HOA documentation and asked them to fill in the gaps. We accepted the policy they provided because as first time homeowners, we trusted State Farm brand and relied on their expertise. Well in their expertise - 18k in building coverage was put on our policy. That’s crazy low. A huge gap between my HOA and State Farm insurance. This coverage is meant to rebuild entirely walls in. We live in a 1000 square foot 2 bed 2 bath condo, there is no way that is even close to enough coverage. This year we had a pipe burst and need to replace much in our home. Obviously 18k is no where near enough to cover damages. It almost feels like they purposefully underinsured me to get a low monthly quote? No idea how 18k could possibly cover 1000 sq ft condo. Even in 2020 that is insanely low. They could not answer me on how my original policy was calculated. They said it was because they inherited my policy from another agent. They also did not respond to an email in 2024. In this email I directly forward them updated HOA COI, and ask if my coverage is adequate. As a first time homeowner, I relied on State Farm to educate me and provide me “adequate” coverage for my condo. Just now on the phone the agent said “adequate” is too vague and I should have been more direct in that email from 2024. Sorry as a normal consumer who knows little about insurance, I was relying on State Farm to simply answer a question via email. This miss in email is costing us thousands of dollars. After we sell our condo we will never use State Farm for any insurance again. Over the phone they showed no remorse for missing my email, no ability to help my situation and no apologies on why my policy was so poorly written. Just deflection to a previous agent and blaming the customer on not double checking the policy. You are the experts who need to help customers with the policy- don’t blame the customers- they are trusting you to provide expertise! Really unprofessional. Do not use them for condo insurance. I believe this particular State Farm office, team, negligently represented my policy. I explicitly asked multiple times for no gaps between my State Farm and HOA insurance, and was either told it’s fine and we have no gaps in coverage, or not responded to."

"I really don’t know how to explain this experience which never happened last 5 years 1-handling clients 2-how to welcome client 3-how to explain the question 4-wasn’t respectful when I was trying to ask about my policy. 5-they literally told me to change the company if I want which I did already. 6-associates are helpful but I wanted to talk management but I never got call back and and finally I visiting them personally I felt insulted myself.. I wish they could be nice and welcoming with me.."

"Nothing particularly bad or special about this this specific agent so average rating. Over 5.5 years, called a few times per year because most actions require agent phone calls. StateFarm though as a national insurance company is pretty dated. Their website is sometimes down and functionality within the site even when working is limited. This leads to having to call the agent on the phone which can be time consuming, especially if you can't get through or get bounced around with different agents whom may or may not be familiar with your case."
